I have managed to run the game without that blue title bar at the top. I had to edit Resource.win titleBar=FALSE 😀

Typing subst without any parameters crushes dosbox. This problem still appears in RC1.

yes, i have noticed that it happens: In winxp always and only if you use -ioctl In win98se always and only if you use -aspi (by the way, i don't know whether i have aspi-layer installed, how to check that?)

try setting your desktop to 16-bit or 32-bit colours i suppose one of your aplications have changed desktop to some strange colour.

i wanted to say that you should change sbtype in dosbox in order to check whether the quality is poor only with one type or with all types.
