I have just checked daum cafe cvs 16.07.2005 and dune's special setup works ok(i have even deleted dosbox.conf and it is still ok). I have tried some other cvses and it is ok.

I have just tested the game. It works with adlib. you have to lower dosbox's cycles to about 2000 and also set type=sb1 or type=sb2 or oplmode=opl2 in dosbox.conf

1024*768 would be too slow in dosbox. Don't you see that 800*600 is already very slow, actually unplayable? Even 640*480 is slow in settlers 2.

Roland Virtual Sound Canvas has a control pannel (in window's control pannel) which allow to configure latency. It is actually the first thing to be done before using it. So I set Response to 90,7 mSec and hear no delay, and the quality is perfect.
