I try to start this game under Dosbox 0.71. And both exe-files (setup and paradise) gives me the same message: " ERROR: Not enough system handles available!". If it was pure DOS, I could tinker with files and buffers in the config.sys. But DOSBox haven't config.sys! What can I do?

What is this "aspect correction" thing? I thinks before, it is the same as "fixed resolution", only not for resizing screen, but for select correct videomode - as it was on DOS. wd, I mean "now every version of DOSBox crashes when I press Alt+Enter in the full screen", where "now" is "after changing motherboard". Qbix, it was not joystick. 😀 (I tested it - no change). leileilol, yes! You are right! output=ddraw do the trick! Thank you! 😀
