Version from Underdogs works just fine for me. It's a Windows 3.x program, but both installation and game work under Windows XP without doing anything fancy. Just running it.

The test you posted works fine for me both under NTVDM and DOSBox 0.65 (machine=vga). I have got an ATi card (X800GTO AGP). What videocard drivers are you using? Tried different driversets?

Try playing with different memory configurations. Try running loadfix before invoking the game.

Hello, thothie. WELCOME TO THE FORUM. Yes, modern nVIDIA cards (and probably all the rest too) are known to have dropped some backwards compatibility. That's one of the reasons why I prefer ATi these days (VESA support still working under WinXP). How did you configure DOSBox for using those programs …

You probably need to mount the cd too. That's why the game is complaining.

That's name may be too long. Try renaming it to DBSTUFF.

M.A.M.E. stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulation if I am not mistaken. It's a well known emulator for Arcades.

I meant 2000 or 3000 cycles (311 is a value too low). Then your problem must lie somewhere else. How do you configure sound for this particular game?

Some games require very low cycles for sound routines to work.

Full screen = ALT-ENTER Edit dosbox.conf using notepad. You can change a lot of behaviour options there.

You could try creating a BIN/CUE image (ISO doesn't support multitrack information) and see if it makes any difference.
