Even better. Most games will work just fine in the Vibra without loading anything in the config.sys autoexec.bat startup files.

Welcome to the forums, M_Alex! It sounds like a videcard driver related problem. What videocard do you have? What videocards drivers are you using? official ones from the video card manufacturer? Microsoft's? Some links: ATi based videocards nVIDIA based videocards

I think that might not be the problem. I am pretty sure some old SSI games suffered from a bug in which paths with ending backslashes in the configuration file produced some really nasty behaviour. By the way... I had just finished Realms of Arkania 3: Shadows over Riva (yesterday). CD Audio worked just fine for me but keep in mind that I am running it under WinXP.
