It's a CD-RIP. Open AV.CFG in a text editor and change the first line to... SourcePath = . I binded DOS32A into the main executable. It even works under native WinXP NTVDM.

Please write down what you tried using DOSBox. This game is from 1996 so I wouldn't be surprised if it'd run slow under DOSBox (where everything is virtualised/emulated). Possible suggestions are using dynamic core & frameskipping.

To know a volume label's name, use the VOL X: command inside a windows dos box (where x: is the cd/dvd drive) or go to My PC and hit properties for an inserted CD/DVD. C:\>VOL D: Volume label is wtf ETC... mount d d:\ -t cdrom -ioctl -label WTF

For MS-DOS games you have the excellent DOSBox emulator -> http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/ You can also use VDMSound (a substitute for sound capabilities in the NTVDM), for giving ms-dos games inside windows a chance to have proper sound. If you want to learn more, read the forums.

NO. You need to alter some parameters inside dosbox.conf scaler=normal2x Etc...

NTVDM = NT Virtual DOS Machine = The emulated ms-dos for Windows NT systems.

Fullfixed=true is used along fullresolution=XXXxYYY resolution to force a specific resolution for full-screen mode. If you want to run all programs at a 800x600 full-screen resolution you should modify the following lines for dosbox.conf fullfixed=true fullresolution=800x600 {default is 1024x768}
