1. Yes I already tried your CVS build. It works just fine using renderer=direct3d 2. Yes, I have latest Catalyst 5.6 - OpenGL renderer doesn't work yet (DOSBox 0.63)

The same happened to me. The MS-DOS version works, Windows version doesn't. Talk about Direct-X backwards compatibility. 😠

do a DIR command to see how folders are named. Use CD to change to a folder. Man, you could use some ms-dos training.

After more thorough testing, I have found out that the Brother's Generic PCL5e driver prints even better, even if it's limited to 600x600dpi. Another one to try (for PCL6 capable printers) is the Laserjet 2100 one. It has a very beautiful 16x16 interpolation dithering rastering method.

I think it's because it could be a Creative propietary way of accessing Midi and most games have a Generic Midi or Roland MT-32 option.

Hmm. You should try a floppy version for comparison. Sometimes, CD versions are not that good.
