The CGA (IBM PC) version works fine while Tandy 16c version doesn't respond to function keys keypresses. DOSBox 0.63 under Windows XP. You need to run it at a very low cycles ratio. This game did run too fast even on a 386. 😎

The problem must lie somewhere else in your system. Check your system for spyware, etc ... or maybe you DOSBox download is corrupted. You should test it under a different machine.

The classic RPG "Eye of the beholder" made by Westwood circa 1991 has been ported to Bioware's NeverWinter Nights as a downloadable FREE module. I remember to have seen it for the first time on a friend's AMIGA 500 and it looked cool. MCGA 256c/Adlib PC version was almost as good (if not even better …

Are you talking to me or Snover? My TFT is LG. I don't think it's that important to have a stuck pixel. It's just one. I am already got used to it. 😁

The funny thing is, SDL seems completely incapable of using real hardware overlays as well (on my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro at least). I asked about this on the SDL newsgroup and they just sort of shrugged. Heh, I didn't know anything about that but I wouldn't be surprised. Anyway, DOSBox is working fine …

Hardware problem? I really doubt it. It must be due to something else. I have been testing it ON TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES. I never said it wasn't working but that it was working quite erratically.

Maybe I should try a different SDL.DLL version. Anyway, DOSBox is running quite happy using OVERLAY on my ATi card.

I left it running for about 6 hours and it didn't fix the only DEAD pixel my TFT has. Pity that. 😢

I am asking this because i am unable to run DOSBox 0.63 running any of the OpenGL modes on my ATi Radeon card. It just opens and closes. Any other rendering output modes work flawlessly.
