Re: Defender of the Crown - EGA version

Same happens to me. What a bummer. If i run it natively (under WinXP) it runs (with speaker, ouch! - Tandy sound rocks) but colours are totally messed up (as with every EGA/VGA 16c mode game a try) thanks to my *great* GF4 Ti4200. What a crap card. I will never buy a nVIDIA card again.

Re: ECHO is off

As far as i know, my EOB 1 & 2 don't require installation at all. Just copy all the files to a folder. Run EOB.EXE for EOB1 and START.EXE for EOB2. If your installation uses a batch file, just ignore it. Copy all the files manually.

Re: prehistoric 2

Re: prehistoric 2

I should have started a new different thread, but anyway... Tested Prehistorik 2 under new DOSBOX 0.61 and now i can begin playing. But as soon as i hit fire key, DOSBOX kicks me directly to desktop. Running under WinXP prof. SP1 - Any suggestions? I deny to think we won't be able to run this …

Re: Hyper 3D Pinball

-label allows specifying a label for the cd-rom in use, for some games require it as security measure. For example, your cd-rom is labelled game_disk so you will mount it as: mount d d:\ -t cdrom -label game_disk Assuming D is the drive letter you want to use as CD-ROM. Just a remainder: RTFD

Re: No sound.

I don't know what may be causing the problems you describe but for Monkey Island you need to pass the appropiate sound parameter on command line. For Adlib it should be monkey.exe a; s for soundblaster and so on. Execute monkey.exe ? for a list of available options.
