That's ok, I don't mind running it in Windows 98. I agree with you that the graphics look more pleasant, era-appropriate, and not as "busy" looking than the titanium version (which I own). I will update the post if I get it working with my Orchid 3dfx voodoo 1 card. Thanks for the heads up.

I take it this is not the 1998 Titanium re-release, at least it doesn't look like in the photo. Would this (current Ebay posting) work in DOS with my Orchid Righteous 3d card?

Hi, On my 286@12mhz computer, using a real and original Soundblaster card, I do not get the clipping sound before every sound sample when playing the beginning of the game. I only get the initial clipping, when sound starts in the game, then it's smooth thereafter.

Congratulations, enjoy the wonderful retro system! Oh, and I would definitely go for the Yamaha daughterboard while playing System Shock. I tried both SCC-1 and DB50XG, and subjectively I prefer the fuller, rich bass sound of the Yamaha's orchestral tones.
