Gweonle Beauchesne released a new snapshot of Basilisk II JIT for Linux today! The changelog seys this:

"V1.0 (snapshot) -
- fixed the problem with Ticks getting incremented on every interrupt, not
just 60Hz (e.g. moving the mouse made the caret blink faster)
- Unix: integrated JIT compiler for Linux/x86
- Unix: moved minimum autoconf support to 2.52+
- Unix: add large file support for 2+ GB hard disk images
- Unix: cleaned up pthread attributes [Brian Johnson]
- Unix: fixed floppy problems under Linux
- Unix: implement "ignoresegv" feature on Linux/x86, Linux/ppc, Darwin/ppc
- Unix: serial port baud rates are now set correctly
- Unix: it is now possible to make the serial drivers pipe their input/output
to programs by using a '' followed by a command line as the modem or
printer port setting (instead of a device name like '/dev/ttyS0')
[Brian Johnson]
- Unix: the option "--config FILE" tells B2 to use a different config file"

Get it here.

Now if they could fix all the problems the mouse support has (like, needing to move the mouse vertically over the window to get the stupid thing to be refreshed after the window has been moved to the background and reselected, and it thinking that clicks I make are for it when they aren't even on its screen...), added some PPC support, added the ability to change screen resolutions and colour modes on-the-fly, have it actually be able to UNARCHIVE files...

Yes, it’s my fault.

Don't recall having this problem However, I usually run it in full-screen mode.

Phbtt... Prepare for a long wait.

Needed function, some programs expect this and cause a fuss when it doesn't work.

? This is a problem? Not on mine.

P.S. Actually I keep an emulated "floppy" that I insert whenever I need to decompress an archive. I suppose I should actually install StuffIt someday...
