Spend a minute looking at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-National-Geo … zgAAOxyNo9Sp4fa That’s what it looks like. It's 1997 software for PC & Mac. From somebody else on Ebay, I bought the Complete National Geographic (1888-1996). Then I mailed it to my aunt as a present. She & her boyfriend own a Macintosh. She contacted me back that she’s worried that it won’t work because the instructions say Windows 95. I have Windows Vista & my copy worked fine.

I’m not uploading it to the internet besides the Readme, User Guide, & Miscellaneous fliers.
Here’s what you need to know:
Readme: http://www.mattstath.com/natgeo/README.TXT
My User Guide scans: http://www.mattstath.com/natgeo/NG-UserGuide.doc
My scans of the miscellaneous fliers that came with it: http://www.mattstath.com/natgeo/NG-MiscFliers.doc (Page 3 may be important)

I don’t have a Macintosh anymore. How would they emulate it on Macintosh? 😕

I'm not clear what the problem is. The back of the box clearly provides instructions for Windows and Macintosh. It is entirely possible that the discs contain applications and documentation for both. (A bigger concern is that the Windows application might be 16-bit, which would make it impossible to run on 64-bit versions of Windows.)

Are you asking how you would run an old Windows program on a Macintosh running OS X? You would do that with WINE, most likely – just like you would with any other Windows program. In fact, it would probably be substantially easier to get it running in OS X than it would be to get the original Macintosh version that was apparently written for System 7.5.

Thank you. I would like to apologize for taking up your time. Since you posted my aunt has responded back to me that her Macintosh isn’t playing CDs or DVDs anymore. But it sounds like if it were to work then WINE would be it.

Keep in mind that this forum is for the emulation OF Macs, not emulation ON Macs.
