However it runs like shite on my computer. I'm not sure why. It might have something to do with my getting only 571 3DMarks from 3DMark03.

Did, but I couldn't see any better perfomance or improvments.
It worked as crappy as the old version on my friends P4 2GHz, 512MB RAMBUS, GF3 Ti500.
It's just choppy all the time for some odd reason.

I got the game and it works as bad as the old release on my friends computer 🙁

I got the download to work and as far as I can see there is no better compability since the game works as crappy as before on my friends P4 2GHz.
