The second alpha release of this brings a bunch of superficial UI changes and adds Google Chrome 1.
Browers are now launched via mock desktop icons, and the mock desktop has theming to kinda reflect the browser's contemporary OS.

This project is back to life to some extent, now using a fully custom Windows 95-style <canvas>-rendered UI. Consider it a toy with limitations, a tech demo more than anything.
What it needs is a custom HTML renderer to avoid <iframe>s.
Now comes with an analog rendering mode that simulates a bad VGA connection.
Implemented as a pixel shader in a JavaScript software rasterizer, so can be slow if you have a 4K+ monitor. On my 1440p with a Ryzen 5 series it's a bit laggy, but only when dragging windows.
The year of browsing can now be selected via a dropdown. It's a hint to the Wayback Machine, but if it decides to ignore it then so it be.
