Had to update the office/man cave and have gone vertical with shelving. Have also been getting into a lot of 8 and 16bit computers lately Commodores are a lot of fun.

You have some nice equipment there, especially the CRTs! What's that one connected to the SNES?

That is a Sony PVM 8044Q I have another 8 inch PVM too that is a newer acquisition. I am working on getting a 13 inch up and running again unfortunately it arrived in a non working condition and may need a new power supply board. So far that has been the only CRT that I have received that has come damaged from shipping. Lesson learned - ask for double boxing and talk to sellers

I find even 13" monitors too small. So I can't imagine using an 8" one.

It wasn't so bad as a kid. I remember the screen of my Game Boy being perfectly fine. But I couldn't imagine sitting hunched over, staring at a tiny little screen now, as an adult.

Yesterday I was about to reorganize my "computing area" ...wasn't inspiring enough really. Needs some drivers.

I understand you completely, I have the same "problem" with my collection. 😀 Great hardware by the way.

This is my temporary IBM computing area 😀 Temporary as in I will have to empty the room in a week so that decorators can come and paint walls (not the brick wall).

Aptiva is original aside from P 100MHz -> 166 MHz MMX and 2x32 MB RAM, Netvista is sort of a hot-rod: consists of MSI s1150 mATX system board and i7 4790 CPU, 16GB RAM, new PSU, GTX 1060 6 GB etc.
Monitor is Eizo UXGA (1600x1200), with several inputs so I can just swap between computers.
Still have to source beige IBM multimedia keyboard, I like them a lot.

Oh I really like the brick wall and the half light. Perfect place for playing DOOM. And the sleeper netvista is a great idea as well!

So here is mine, out in my corner of the garage. Kind of a multi-purpose thing. Plenty of room to spread everything out, watch a movie and put together a retro pc!

That projector setup it brilliant! It makes me want one, if I had a free wall to project onto.

The great thing about projectors is that VGA is abundant on even the cheapest models that people just throw away.

Not as clean as I would like, but hey the world may end any day now, so I'd better post while I have the chance.

Haven't been on here in awhile, been super busy with work. I've been eyeballing Pentium 3 stuff on ebay.

I had to downsize, and this room doubles as my office, so there's a white board behind the projector screen. I've got a printer in there too. And I've crammed quite a bit of gear in there.

80 inch screen, Sony 295 ES, G9 Odyssey, some Benq office monitor,

Aerial 5B, Pioneer BS22, Polk OWM3, three 8 inch Frankenstein subs, Pioneer SC 09 TX,

6700k, 2080 Ti, 16Gb ram, etc. Bunch of hard drives etc.

Falcon Northwest Fragbox, circa 2005. It was unmolested when I got it, but I immediately started modifying it. Still has the original AMD 64, replaced the BFG 6800 with Zotac 750 zone, added some ram, added a audigy 2 zs, some moar fans, even replaced the fans in the power supply, replaced the working hdd raid with an SSD raid, which was a mistake. I kept all the parts. I would have jumped for joy to have one of these in high school; Early 2000's Lan parties were great.

Wall mounted machine is a windows 98 machine. AMD 64. ECS KV2 motherboard I had laying around, Passively cooled Ti 4200 (too much coil whine), Audigy 2 ZS. I'm not happy with this machine. Too many compatibility issues for what I want it to do.

I've got a working MS Force Feedback joystick too. I'm happy with this.

And I've got a Sony X800m2 and a Vertex 2, so I can LLDV any movie I watch in here.

And there's a twin daybed too. And a HM Embody chair I scored on craigslist.

And while this is not as 90's as I would like. I am going to rectify this deficiency later this year when I have time. But hopefully this sort C shaped set up will give others and idea of how much stuff they can cram in a 14x9 room if they really try. There's also around 500 books in that room too. I made a shelf that runs the whole room. And I've got about 90 PC gaming magazines from the 1999-2005 era in there too.

And I can run all three systems at once, and I have enough keyboards and mice to control them all at the same time too. Although, I trying to control a mouse and keyboard with my feet is hard.

That's a great setup. Also love the Centurion 5 case. What projector are you using?

Thank you. The projector I'm not even sure, a Sharp i think that just does720P, nothing special. It and an old Sony surround sound system are adequate for "garage theater" !
