Looks classy.
My setup is never that tidy which is why it's not allowed in "Public" rooms such as the living room. I'm told not everyone likes seeing a bunch of old dusty hardware with cables going everywhere!?

Does that wall have a fireplace in it? And what kind of table is that such that it's so long and narrow? It fits perfectly.

Yup, there is a fireplace there. It's never been used (at least as long I've lived here), so I figured I'd make use of the space by building a desk in front of it.

The table itself is built from an Ikea countertop and wooden legs. It's about 8 feet wide (~2.4m) and a little over 2 feet deep (~0.7m). It's supported by four legs along the back which are cut down to fit on top of the hearth.

Beautiful! I'd feel right at home there.

Thank you! I do really like the wood/stone combination of this particular space.

Thanks!

There is some cable mess under the table, though it's cleverly hidden in that picture via a carefully chosen angle. 😉

Rearranged my space again)

On the left is Amiga 3000, between them place, where I sometimes change computers - now it's 286/20/VGA with earlу 90's VGA display, on the right - 3 machines connected to one display/keyboard by KVM switch - P1 by Digital, 286/16mhz/vga and a PIII/700mhz on Asus P3bf) 4 displays stored under tables - one EGA and 3 VGA....

I'm sensing a slight theme there... you're a Compaq fan right? 🤣

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

thanks ! Amiga is a nice platform to explore and use) I bought an MSX Yamaha-II recently but finally sold it to another collector as it didn't seem to me as interesting as Amiga... Amiga has some very unique charm)... I regret selling A2500HD in 2012, but at least I managed to save that A3000 - it has SCSI->SD device that allows file exhange to be easy... Besides games installed music making and other software on it)

What is that chunky desk? Is it also vintage? Because it matches the aesthetic perfectly.

well I like all kind of vintage stuff not only somputers, have some real old oficially antique stuff, mostly at my contry place, like old cameras, 19 centrury pocket watches, oil lamps, late 19 century tea boxes, etc... but these are two common Ikea tables from 2000's)

Unfortunately, I might have to replace the CRT monitor with an LCD at some point, because the CRT has a very annoying issue where it turns itself off at random times.

🤣…….Yes, Sandwich that Pringles box in Plexy Glass and Build a retro computer in that Pringles box.
He must be looking for a RED computer case. He has a RED Motherboard in a RED box.
Maybe “Candy Apple RED” or “Cherry RED” I like “Porsche Guards RED” or “Ferrari RED”.
