I built myself quite a nice little office/den space when we moved in to our new house back in 2014:

I'm digging the the cooler master stacker case. 11 bays of glory.

I have one myself. Super case. I fell down some stairs after a LAN while carrying a Stacker. Snapped one of the wheels off, but the computer was fine. Those old cooler masters are tanks.

Ha! Yes, that was my main workstation/server case for many many years. 12x 500gb data drives at first, then 8x 1tb drives until I retired it a couple of years ago.... It didn't actually fit under the desk in the new office room!

This is my updated retro corner

That's quite clean. I like it.

Thanks!

There's gonna be a 386 there, the 486 moved to the side, and a P233 MMX off to the side (on top of cream filing cabinet) and a KVM underneath the desk.

Depending on how cramped it might get, I might put the 386 (in a 5160 sized case) on its side under the desk.

I read that as "cream filling cabinet" sounded delicious.

Sweet baby jesus what a lovely room! Do you vacuum your desk weekly too? 😀

Smiley face atop the strat - couldn't see any CRTs though?

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

Haha, yeah it is a chore sometimes to keep all tidy. I had some CRT's but they all died on me

This is my Retro area! Its a very small space but its the only space I have to put my setup without the Wife shouting at me. Hoping to move this year and plan to have a bigger space. It works for what it is.

It works like a dorm-room, in a good way. Like, I see that and I think I'm about to hear about how cool each part is while half of it gets moved to show other things.

Very nice!!! I have also a small corner because of my wife who shouts at me haha. So in this small space i have managed to install Two macintosh computers, one PC and a midi tower of 5 devices. The other 3-4 Mac computers are in my basement 😀. I have an extra place below my desk for a tower. I am thinking of getting a pentium II to connect it via a switch (same monitor, keyboard and mouse for both pc computers).

- Macintosh LC475, Powerbook 540c, Macintosh Performa 6116CD, Power Macintosh G3 Minitower (x2), Imac G3, Powermac G4 MDD, Powermac G5, Imac Mid 2007
- Cyrix 120
- Amiga 500, Amiga 1200
- Atari 1040 STF
- Roland MT32, CM64, CM500, SC55, SC88, Yamaha MU50

Lately is has looked like this. 🤣

I am sorting through my collection of parts, testing all of it and deciding what to keep and what to let go of (most of it being rehomed).

This is after cleaning up, it has been scattered around me most of the month.

Absolutely love the fact that your cat on the mousepad is attacking your mouse. Nice touch!

My office mate is starting to worry... Also, nothing makes you realize how bad your cable management is like taking a picture of your desk. Yeesh!
