Since one of my old builds decided to quit (bad caps, and I don't have any replacement for 'em),I decided to give it a small "facelift".

HDD:80GB Maxtor 6Y080L0
PSU:Premier LC-B450E - recapped with Sanyo caps
ODD:Hitachi-LG GSA-4167B DVD-RW

None at the moment, since I upgraded the rig....sightly:

CPU:AMD Athlon 2800+ 1.8GHz,S754
GPU:integrated Geforce 6100/nF405
RAM:512MB - will explain why below
MB:ASRock K8NF6G-VSTA - PCI-E,but I don't really care since I've yet to get a GPU - thinking of Geforce 8600 😀
HDD:8GB WDC Protege - only thing I have at the moment. The 80GB Maxtor had to be reused on my Xbox.
PSU:Delux ATX-450W P4 - KissQuiet build - despite being cheap,it's reliable for such systems.
ODD:Sony CD-RW CRX320E - it's a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive.
OS:Tiny7 - tiniest 7 install ever!

The reason why I downgraded to 512MB is because this ASRock is quite quirky when it comes to RAM - a 512MB Kingmax stick works excellent, but a 512MB Elixir will not POST,and a 256MB PQI stick will cause GPU artefacts - the artefacts are due to the GPU sharing memory from the RAM.

Also, funny enough,I've got enough boards to build 8 more PCs. Here are the boards, from the oldest to the newest:

-Gigabyte GA-6BXC (w/patched LuckyStar HDD limit BIOS) - i440BX
-ECS P6VXAT - this one is in need of a recap - G-Luxons scratch my brain 🤣 - VIA694X
-Gigabyte 7VT600 - VIA KT600
-Gigabyte 8IE2004 - Intel i845E
-ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe - used to be my MSI 865PE Neo2's successor,god this thing ran hot as deepest hell,until I replaced the 3GHz HT P4 with a 2.8GHz 533FSB Northwood - i865PE
-EPoX EP-8KDA7I - nForce3 250
-ASUS K8U-X - ULi M1689
-ASRock P4VM800 (w/ MagicPro (which in turn is Jetway) P6VM-X BIOS) - VIA P4M800 BIOS
