That card looks fantastic with that water block on it. I really love the look of EK parts. Probably overkill and would be considered a waste of money but I really want to water cool my C2D E8600 Nforce 680i system just cause I think it'll be a fun project

It’s 100% for the hobby and totally worth it in that respect. It’s nice to look at and very reliable. Can’t wait to see it!

I'm in the planning phase now hopefully it'll be a fall project. What's really surprising is that water blocks for the 775 socket are still available everywhere and even blocks for the 680i motherboards are still super easy to find and quite inexpensive as well

It’s going to be really sweet! I switched back to soft tubing, Using 1/2in 3/4od. No rush, mine has been evolving for years and not expensive at all.

My brain hurts!
1 second I'm reading about graphics cards with more ram then my daily driver, next a 32MB stick of EDO!
Seriously though 2 very nice builds.

My aptiva doesn't let me upgrade teh cpu until 200mhz MMX, only at 200mhz, without MMX.

I imagine it depends of the number of the build, right?, Where must i search to find the build of mine pc?.

Depends on the Motherboard inside your aptiva (I upgraded mine to a 93H7122).
Some motherboards can be upgraded to a 200 Mhz mmx if you also swap the voltage regulator to a different one (233 Mhz will work on those boards as well, but will generate bios errors every boot unless it is explicitly supported by the board).
If you cannot swap the voltage regulator, a pentium MMX overdrive might be an option.

I also read some people running a mmx without swapping the voltage regulator, but you will be overvolting the mmx by quite a large amount which will generate a lot of heat and can significally decrease the lifetime of the cpu.

This is the reason I went with the overdrive cpu. 200 mmx no problem and easy install without fiddling around. Switch to 66.6 fsb via jumpers.

This was my info source and it lists machine types:

Ah, yeah, i alreadyremember where the problem was: my motherboard doesn't have the jumper to modify the voltage.

By the way, What solution did you choose for the heatsink?, i'm thinking about an 8x8x5cm copper one, but i can't find one... ^^u

The overdrive cpu come with a built in heatsink.
