I just got a new laptop to play with, the iBook G4 with Power PC cpu clocked at 1.33 GHz.

Since I never worked with this architecture I've got no idea what to expect from it. This CPU from 2005 it not sufficient to emulate this game?

While googling on this theme I noticed there was some recent work on optimizing code to work better on power pc cpu, it was about WII console. Was it added in usual dosbox build?

There is only so much you can do with an ancient cpu and emulation isnt cheap you should look for a duke3d port that works on that system.
