Hi @ all! 😀
I am new on the Forums...my name is Phil and i have a huge problem!
I have a clint who uses an old program running under DOS with Win98SE...i am able to start the program under winXP with dosbox, but i am not able to access the printer..it is an "Brother MFC-3240C USB Printer"..i have read that there is a special version of dosbox including parallel port support but i cannot figure out how to use this passthrough...any ideas? 😀

Passthrough only works with parallel port printers. You could try the virtual printer though.

I don't know if this will work or not...

Share your printer (as if networked).

open a cmd.exe window: (windows ms-dos session)

Enter command: net use lpt1: <Network name>\\<network printer name> /persistent:yes

Thus, you can redirect lpt1 calls to your usb printer.
