okay so I followed these steps: http://www.dosbox.com/wiki/Basic_Setup_and_In … ation_of_DosBox
with the CD-Rom version of it... but it still wouldnt work. And now whenever I try to play a game, it says theres an error and its copyrighted or read-only (sorry its all in french and thats the best i can translate to). How can I go back to my original settings?

1Z:\>MOUNT D D:\ -T cdrom
2MSCDEX installed.
3Drive D is mounted as CDRom D:\

Whats the opposite of this???

close dosbox and restart it

I'm not even using dosbox no more and it still says the same message. Did I do something permanent to my Drive when I followed those instructions or is it supposed to be just for the time its being in use on dosbox til I close it??

No, dosbox doesn't change anything at your system configuration.
Restart your pc and see if it still occurs without dosbox loaded.
