While working on D-Fend Reloaded 0.5.0 maybe I have found a little bug in DOSBox:
When video capture is running while DOSBox is being closed (by clicking on "x" or even by typeing "exit" on the DOSBox command line) the captured video isn't playable.
I have installed the DOSBox video codec and when video capture is stopped (by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F5) before DOSBox is closed the video is playable. I have checked this behavior on DOSBox 0.72 and the CVS build from cvscompile.aep-emu.de from 13/6/2008 (both on Windows plattform).
By opening the correct and the corrupted avi files in a hex editor I've found out the RIFF header is missing in the corrupted avi file (the first 500 bytes of the file are just zero).
