Hi there...

I have recently installed xbuntu on a laptop.. DosBox is installed fine and runs and everything... but I am confused at how I am to edit the conf file.

When I ran dosbox on PC, I would install it, then in the console type config -writeconf dosbox.conf and then open that file dosbox.conf that was written to the root of the directory dosbox was installed to and then make all my global edits. Like window resolution and stuff like that.

If I use that command now it outputs to the root of my user folder in xbuntu.

So my question is.. ..

Q:- How do you get DosBox on xubuntu to load a conf with your settings in it, like for example to auto mount the c drive each time.

depends on the version of dosbox that comes with xbuntu.
If a bit recent
dosbox -editconf sensible-editor
