now i´ve worked out how to make iso/bin + ogg with cuefiles andusing imgmount. so that is NOT what im getting at.

lets say i have a directory gameim mounted as d using mount d gameim -label blabla which is fine.
now comes the problem...
now I put Track02.ogg , Track03.ogg etc in that folder.
How can i make DOSbox interprint that as cdaudio using the mount command?

i´ve tried working around this by trying to find out if cue´s could use folders instead of iso/bin as track 1 but to no avail.

the idea came upon when installing carmageddon : there is three choices
small medium and large. for some reason the only time the cdaudio will play is when large install is done (to the best of my knowlegde).
So I thought of tricking the game by copying the iso dirs (which is more or less identical to the install dir) to the hardrive then merging the install dir into that.
Then mounting this as cd so dosbox whould read it both as gamedir and cdrom.

If this mount whould only read the oggs placed in that dir like imgmount does there could be saved a lot of space. and thats just one game.

I belive the ScummVM is capable of doing this. that is what i think is mounting a folder and associate track01 track02 and so on as cdaudio.
both emulators use the sameSDL.dll so i whould seem possible that DOSbox whould do whatever Scumm does

It does not make sense for the program to operate in that fashion. That is not to say that it is not impossible, but if this only happens to "the best of your knowledge", you may be mistaken.

Why not merge the install dir into the iso dirs, and then put the whole thing into a new ISO?

Good thing disk space is mindbogglingly cheap these days.

I do not think the functionality you are referring to is inherent to SDL.
