Hello, I've a problem with yhkwong's build in that the keybord is too sensitive. In normal DosBox (and gulikoza's build) when a key is kept pressed there's a relatively long delay between the first sent input and the next ones. In yhkwong's build this delay is very short, and it's very easy to accidentally send 2 inputs instead of 1 (like moving 2 steps at once or turning 180 degrees instead of 90 in games like Eye of the Beholder). Does it depend on my settings (but it happens also on default settings) or can it be corrected in some way? Thanks

These forums are not intended to provide support for unofficial builds of DOSBox, so you really should ask ykhwong about issues related to his build.

That said, ykhwong's build has the default repeat delay at the lowest setting (1), which is good for some games but can cause unwanted repeating in normal typing. You can use the MODE external program from MS-DOS or FreeDOS to change the keyboard typematic rates, or if you're using one of the most recent builds then the internal version of MODE will suffice. The following command sets the standard repeat rate and delay:

mode con rate=32 delay=2
