Here is what I did to mount an ISO image of my game CD (Battle Isle 2) in DOSBox:

1) Burn the ISO image (Joliet format is what works for me).
2) Download an unsupported virtual CD driver from Microsoft (Windows XP only).
3) Read/follow the ReadMe.Txt.
4) Mount the ISO image as, say I:
5) Edit your DOSBox configuration to mount drive I: as your CDROM.

Tada 😎

Nope, never heard of DT.

I agree. I will do the same as soon as i get a DVD burner. Awaiting for a double-layer standard to appear, though (i have even heard some current drives -> Pioneer A06 write to those discs by just updating the firmware).

Why are you saying that? A06 is the same as 106 but OEM packaged. Or was it the other way around?

If you are referring to dual-layered writing, the drive needs a special firmware update which haven't been released to public. Pioneer showed that on a recent computers fair. Don't recall its name.
