Hi,
for the sake of tabbing out of games I want to play my dosbox games at an almost fullscreen window resolution of 1920x1020.
The window, however, always reduces the width. What and how do I need to configure, so I get the window resolution I want?
I don't care for aspect and artifacts and whatever. I already experimented heavily with the "output", "aspect" and "scaler" values, to no avail.

I want a window resolution of 1920x1020. When I start dosbox with the configuration "windowresolution=1920x1020", however, the window may be 1020 pixel in height, but is definately not 1920 pixel width. It may be just 2/3 of that.
ah yes, it won't allow to randomly "distort" it.
it will keep the original aspect ratio or (if you have aspect=true, a 4:3 ratio)
