IIRC, this is caused by the keyboard driver. Try replacing the current one with the "Standard PS/2" keyboard".

Thanks DosFreak, however my "Device Manager" indicated that my keyboard driver was working properly. I even had it look automatically
for the best online updates and upon doing this, it returned that I already had the best updates.

"the best updates" is extremely subjective in this case...

Just another user that likes old OSes and videogames, nothing interesting to see here...
