Did you can add auto-conversion LFN (Long File Name) to SFN (Short File Name - Format 8.3) after enter command "cd" in DOSBox app?

When write command for example cd "Program files" then i get notify.

DirectoryName Is Longer Than 8 Characters And / Or Contains Spaces.
Try cd "progr~1

Did it can not be that when you enter a long file name file/folder app Dosbox automatically change LFN and use as short names?

For example if after enter "Program files" then DOSBox app use as progra~1

I would like to use a registry key

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\Shell\Run in DOSBox\command]

with a parameter
"C:\Program Files\DOSBox-0.74-3\DOSBox.exe" "%1"

But it does not work on * .exe files with called LFN. In context menu work LFN folders with it DOSBox but not with files.
