Says "soundcard not found" or something like that. Mostly default config, except Gravis Ultrasound emulation was enabled.

When trying to run it through VDMSound, I still get nothing, but it doesn't give any error message. The last line is "TFMX:5"

Using a CVS version of Dosbox... Tried with 0.63 just to be sure, same result.

Just start the game with a lower cycle count, try 1000 or
so (2000 worked fine for me).

Well. I never guessed lowering cpu cycles would help. Thanks.

I also had to enable sound in the menus, but lowering cycles at least didn't give me a "soundcard not found error"

Yeah, alot of DOS games cannot detect the sound card if the cycles are set too high.

Not sure if we have this in a FAQ yet.....although it should be....and will be very soon.
