i'm trying to run Teenagent game but it says it "need MSCDEX 2.1 +". i'm running on 0.65 ( previously 0.63 ) on windows xp sp2 ( when trying to run in win xp it says the same ( "need MSCDEX 2.1 +" )
I assume that the version number of MSCDEX in dosbox is 2.23.
Did you mount a cd-rom drive?
You can also try using SAPUCDEX (it's an MSCDEX replacement) (included with VDMSound), it should get rid of that error.
DO NOT USE SAPUCDEX WITH DOSBOX.
i have mounted cd rom ( with out it could not start ) ...
is there any vdmsound for linux ?
Please tell how exactly you mounted the cdrom.
