I still have all of my SSI "Gold Box" cluebooks from back when the games were originally released; however, 2 DQK walkthroughs I found on the Internet were helpful supplements -- especially in identifying which encounters could be safely skipped and in providing specific advice for a few of the toughest sequences (f.ex. the Abyss).
