I am running a Toshiba Laptop
intel core duo 2.10GHz
ATI Radeon 3470 256MB dedicated
3GIG RAM
Realtek HD audio sound card
Windows Vista home premium 32bit
DOSBOX 0.73

I have done things that the READ ME suggested and nothing appears to work

current sound config

sbtype=sb16
sbbase=220
irq=7
dma=1
hdma=5
sbmixer=true
oplmode=auto
oplemu=default
oplrate=22050

Any suggestions would be worth a try

Try again with

irq=5

which also a most-used setting.

have you configured your games to use sound in their setup.exe/install.exe/anyother.exe/bat/com ?
