Hallo,
I have the Ultima VIII CD Hard Drive Edition. If I run install all works fine until "install now" - it say´s -" copy Disk One" and freeze....
Any Ideas?

That is odd. So you're running the one off the yellow Ultima Collection CD? Are you using a real DOS machine or DosBox? U8 was a pain for me to get to work properly for years.

If there is program file named BATCD.COM on the game CD, there is a known problem with it causing freezes that has been fixed in SVN.

I´m use a IMAC with BOXER to run U8
Today I have tested the Game on a real DOS PC and its works...
sorry about my bad english....I´m from germany....

Try the SVN built for Mac linked to in my signature or else take this to the boxer author.
