I've been playing a lot of DOS games like Alien Rampage and Commander Keen in Invasion of the Vorticons. While they're great games, they're sorely lacking something crucial: music.

I was wondering if there are any DOS programs/applications that allow me to play music files (MP3, WAV, CD audio, etc.) while another program is running. I know I could just play them in the background with Quicktime or iTunes, but it's a pain to have to minimize the window just to click the replay button on Quicktime every time the song ends, and programs like iTunes cause serious lag.

I'm specifically looking for command line parameters and/or programs that can let me play external music and a game at the same time, both from within DOSBox. No hardware or non-DOS programs. And I don't mean games like Quake or Redneck Rampage that already have CD audio support. I'm talking about games like Alien Rampage or Commander Keen in Invasion of the Vorticons, which never had music to begin with.
