I was playing the new ((lighthouse the dark being)) game in DOSbox
and I was about to follow the dark being and when it hit me in the head
I had to insert CD#2 to continue.
I did it with a CD#2 I just bought, but some how it still wants a CD#2
how can I continue without it? 😒 😢

I know some games can search for multiple drive letter for the CDs before prompting for media. If the game does support this, then you can simply mount both CDs at the same time as D: and E:.

DOSBox supports hot-key to swap multiple floppy media, I am not quite sure if the same has been implemented to support CD media.

Lastly, one can also create his own CD image by merging both CDs into one, if the filenames on both CDs are not in conflict and the game logic would simply look for the files on the CD. There weren't many games in the DOS era that would span multiple CDs. I don't have such games in possession, so you will have to find ways around that. For Windows games, (mind you, that using DOSBox for Windows games is forbidden 😵 ), I just mounted all the CD at the same time and they just worked, regardless if they are on emulators or real machines without CD-ROM drive, for eg. Descent Freespace (2CDs), Freespace 2 (3CDs) and Heavy Gear 1 (2CDs)
