Running Install.bat or Dos\INSTALL.exe in DOSBox brings the installer to an error saying the CD isn't in my drive even though it is.

Did you mount the cd with "-t cdrom"?
Some games check that they're being installed from what they think is a cd drive and won't run from what they think is a hard drive.
