You might be right; then again, that's the whole point of this build.
NT 3.1, Windows MME (3.0a), and OS/2 2.x only have audio drivers for ISA-based sound cards, so I wanted a super fast motherboard that still had full capability for ISA sound. The G7S620 was one of the last boards made with fully functional ISA slots.
All of these OS's run just fine with a variety of PCI graphics cards (the ones I noted in my previous post) on my G4V620 with a P4 2.8GHz and 2GB of DDR-333 memory. I frankly expected the G7S620 to boot and run each OS the same, just faster (the presence of integrated SATA ports and a real AGP slot would have been icing on the cake). Unfortunately, a number of my PCI cards had issues on it. Very frustrating.
