I hope you continue to post pictures of your purchases Artex! It is always nice to drool at something that is SFW when at work 😉

My recent acquisitions (not my picture on the first):

Dell 21" P1130 Triniton flatscreen monitor. Very nice refresh rates on this! 120hz here I come. I will most likely use it on my P3 Tualatin system as I already have a black case and black keyboard. Picked up for free:

CH Flightstick Pro joystick. Picked up for free! Damn this is a nice one. I love it!

New boxed Pine PT-730A Pentium Socket 5 Motherboard

UMC chipset. This will fit nicely for future Socket 5/7 benchmark comparisons. Anyone know if the 3.3V connector is required?

Amazing hardware Artex, i wonder what kind of a build will you make 😀

I've scrapped 9x W2457AK-15 chips from some crappy SR-M401-A an gigabyte MB-8433UUD clone.
Wont even bother testing the board, i don't like these PCI versions when it comes to 486.

Yeah who cares, I coughed up 165eur locally for a scc-1 some 6 months ago because I wanted it. Later someone here payed it again (with a little extra for shipping/fees) and got it from me on eBay.

So, you bought the card just to flip it?

bought it 6 months ago for a 386DX build... ran into problems and it became a 486DX2 build. Ran into problems again (stability issues both times), gave up, dismantled the machine and sold the scc-1 in order to recycle money and get other stuff... it was a case of either getting my money back or keep it and forget the other stuff.

Rgart, I think you should apply at your local detectives office. I don't appreciate it, but I have to respect the amount of time and effort you put forth to dig me up.

Hehe How did I get blamed for this? 😜

Yeah Artex should be able to make something pretty special with that lot.

Got this for £20 by mistake

Thought it was a 4MB Stealth 3d Pro, so got a bit over excited.
Still, having fun with Terminal Velocity in S3d, long term it'll replace the TGUI9440-1 in the 486

Monitor bros!

*fist bump*

I have two of them. One on my retro PC station, and one floating around taking up space! 😜

Hoo boy, yeah, hands down.

In terms of LD players, mine is a pretty late model one.

LD as a whole is still pretty retro tho! 😉

After not getting any old hardware for a long time (since I've been busy putting together a modern rig) I have this on my way, for my older XP rig:

Hopefully I'll use it to run my DOS machine with MUNT!

Is that made by creative?

What year was it produced?

Excellent find.
