These do not work on a standard board without modification. The pinout has been modified.

Picked up a few slot 1 cpus at the end of last year, so this year I'm looking to expand my very limited collection of slot 1 boards for testing and benchmarking - this is one I picked up last week, the multi-socket Jetway 913AF based on the i810E variant

Aren't you supposed to modify or replace part of the car's central console to make it fit?

That's unfortunate. It seems your only option is to integrate the system into the console but usability couldn't be worse with the keyboard recessed so far into the footwell area.

Got an HP Compaq nc6230 in the mail the other day. Charger hopefully comes today then I'll be able to verify if it works. It has a 2GHz Pentium M with 1GB RAM and a 60GB HD. I hope the screen is okay too cause it's SXGA+.

unfortunately it's missing a few grille pieces but waev. I'll give it a thorough cleandown once I verify it works and redo the thermal paste.

I would remove the glove box and have the computer fold up into there, and maybe have an arm (like a CRT wall mount) to bring it over toward the driver seat.

Power supply received, no power. No LEDs or anything. Motherboard is toast... after tearing it apart, turns out it has had some liquid damage. A replacement mobo is on its way.

Some of those little guys are really messed up.

Picked up some great finds over the weekend. Think I'll be OK on sound and io needs for a while.

As I need a case and a network card also for my upcoming 486 build, I bid for this retro AT class computer and won, which set me back 59 euros (incl. shipping).

I like that it has still a real red switch.
And it does not look like one of the really bad one of that age.
I hope it still fits under the desk 😐

It seems to contain a 4MB graphics card which I hope is of usable quality and compatibility for my DOS/Win98 playstation build.
Also it contains an ISA network adapter - an Intel one would be convenient for my 486!

The mobo (GA-586HX) with P166, and 32MB RAM and the 8GB HDD I guess I'll throw back into the bay, like the HDD.

Doesn't look like an Intel adapter, they were generally full-height ISA cards. This looks like a generic NE2000 clone, maybe a RTL8019.

The jumpers on the board seem completely misconfigured for the installed CPU, looks like the seller just plopped a random CPU into the board before selling it. Probably goes without saying to double-check and fix the jumpers before attempting to boot the board for the first time 😀

I noticed that too. I will use it with a K6-2 400 anyway 😀

EDIT: Oh CRAP, I just noticed that the ferrite ring on the upper right is broken.. Shit. Those are so hard to find and replace 🙁 Pulled the plug on the deal..
