Got my hands on a DFI Itox Pentium M board. Was listed for bout 20 bucks but, didnt pay a thing. Fiance bought it as an early christmas present (love that woman).

Eventually will get a new heatsink (current one is a rigged 370 cooler) and a Pentium M 770.

If it's like my SB16 SCSI, you don't need special SoundWave 32 SCSI drivers - just use the generic Future Domain drivers for that chip.

Ordinary SW32 don't have WBH, so i wonder, there must be different version of drivers, that support WBH. But I still don't test it, so, may be all works with ordinary drivers.

For 10$ (50zł) Teac PD Drive PD-518E ATA in fully working condition with 5 pd maxell cartridges (1pc nos, 3 unused, 1 used). Also it reads cds.

Bought an Audigy 2zs for my in-progress DirectX 9 build. Pictures indicate it is a platinum even though it wasn't advertised as such. Great buy and I can't wait to try it out.

That is either a 386sx or 486slc. Last gen boards are usually half size - ie small. I have a few 386 SX and DX and even 486DX half size (or even smaller).

Very nice collection you got there, however I highly recommend removing those barrel batteries ASAP, and the ones that have leaked acid on the board should be cleaned with vinegar and then alcohol. 😀

I'll take some pictures later for your viewing but I picked up these parts today, all for $40. There is a store near me that sells electronics/PC's, but mainly computer parts. It's one of those stores where everything is everywhere... boxes and boxes, "mostly" old early 2000's 1990's PC parts, some more recent but nothing newer than 2005. He's getting low on the 486 stuff now. Anyways, onto what I grabbed...

All for $40... not bad eh? I usually buy multiple parts eg; the hard drives, because lets face it, eventually everything will die, and the longer I can keep playing Duke 3D or Quest for Glory on retro PC's, the better 😎
The biggest problem is the motherboards, Socket 3... and AT Socket 7 boards are becoming far fewer. I know quite a few people, even this store owner, who sold lots of older parts for scrap when the prices were high for scrap. It's too bad... wish I could buy 20 486 boards to last me my life time 😀

I have bought 39 pieces of Samsung KM41256AP-12 DRAM to fill up the whole EMS part of my Laser 8086 system motherboard..(so every empty socket is occupied)
I have bought one Intel 8087 -1 co-processor for the same system *maybe i dont use it often*, but i really like the idea to have the full options on my 8086 XT machine.

When i have the stuff, the motherboard is ready to install it again on the chasis. Only have to polish the outside of the power supply housing so it would look as new again..

My main focus is now on my V-tech laser 8086 Xt machine, so i can finish it in limited steps.. So i decided for now to buy the new stuff more minded on that laser computer..
Because this computer do only have three options to only install 3x 5.25 options. So i needed an 5.25 sized 3.5 inch micro floppy drive. (the old one seems to be 720KB capacity only, and that bracket that comes with the drive looks ugly in my opinion) The other downside was the color.. In the earlier days it was very easy to getting those grey drives / bracket.. Today white / beige / black seems to be more common to find..
I really got a headache to find those matching gray drive / bracket stuff.. It seems i had very limited options here, and really dont wanted to install a lighter color beige / white to that older gray system..

I ended up with this:

It doesnt looking dirty or damaged and it seems to be gray in my eyes..

I think this would be a grey one also, but iam not 100% sure about it. As you guys maybe can see on the latest picture in the right corner, there is written black, gray and the other is empty
And if iam look sharp to it, it seems that the gray has been` ticked`, but because of age, its a litte bit faded away.. But it seems to be a 5.25 bracket for the teac 235 micro floppy drives.

Next item is the diamond speedstar:

And a 2theMAX Tseng ET4000 W32p 1MB VLB which could be easilly could be upgraded to 2MB if i want to. Only have to solder the new chips to the board.

I've got a floppy drive in one of those adapters somewhere. Never tested it though...

Funny that... I just won an eBay auction for the same thing! Mine is the Audigy 2 ZS Platinum with the PCI card, drive bay front panel and cables, and will be going in my dual P3 build (black case).

It'll go nicely with my SB Live Platinum that I have in my single P3 build (white case)!

I was at a fleamarket today and found a few items. Too bad i didn't find anything for my socket7/slot1 love so i settled for a few newer items...

Bought a Leadtek Winfast A350 (Very nice fx5900 non-ultra card, completely wrapped in an alu cooler, great looks!), a Radeon 9800se and a geforce 4 mx460 (don't see these too often).

Three nice cards for 10 euro, i think that was not a bad deal...

Fingers crossed, will be testing these tomorrow 😀
