SiS 6215 Graphics Driver for 6215B0.
Apparently there are three different hardware revisions, each needs their own drivers.
This is for PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0205
You can use 7Zip to open the self-extracting executables in the archive.

I noticed that someone uploaded original CD on archive.org for Aztech PCI 368-DSP (VLSI / QSound ThunderBird 128) soundcard.
I used to have this soundcard back in late 90's, and had been searching for the drivers for ages.

I have the ZIP disk that came with the parallel port ZIP drive with the original contents on it (called Zip Tools version 5.4). I don't see anything like this on the Vogons Drivers Library, and particularly the parallel port drivers are often missing the EPP and ECP drivers that make the ZIP drive actually fast, or they miss the optimizer software that you need to determine the maximum speed of your cable / pc combo, or they miss both. The drivers that can be found in the archive only contain the bare minimum to use a ZIP drive and are from the JAZ era. Would it be possible to upload this disk on the archive? It is 27.8 MB 7zipped.

Hello There,

I'd like to upload a pack of now rare drivers, utilities and manuals for various DEC / Digital Equipment Corp computers. We're DEC enthusiasts, we own several. Re this thread:
Digital equipment's celebris XL 5100 has black screen and gives out an error code.

Bit new to this, how should I go about it? I've RAR'ed up my DEC driver collection, with a README history - comes in at 278MB, not complete by any means but a nice collection for the various machines that I hope will be helpful.

It's a grab bag, my Dad downloaded them about 15 to 20 years ago (how time flies!), some even come from the DEC BBS (oh the good old days). Not perfect, bit of duplicates, but pretty well organized. I'd like to upload them as a RAR file for everyone's viewing pleasure. Can I add it to the Vogons driver library (or does someone else have to do that?).

Thanks for hosting a great site and library!

Bellarmine

I've got a big pile of DEC stuff archived (x86 (and windows-compatible Alpha) drivers, Windows NT on Alpha stuff, plus some product info and PC manuals, the ftp server, more documentation, network products support, and probably a pile more) if there is anything you're looking for in the future.

I'm not really sure how easy the PC and NIC stuff would be to suck into vogons drivers though (I assume the Alpha, VAX and other networking stuff is well out of scope). It would be a huge amount of work to do by hand - there are over 1400 files needing metadata. Easiest way would be to write a program to parse the HTML files and concatenate all the metadata together into a description that could go into the database. But I suspect a better approach is just to preserve the original HTML files describing everything - either link to existing mirrors or host them directly.

Dealing with Compaq SoftPaqs is a similar challenge though with much larger storage requirements and much less useful metadata available.

Sorry for the delay, just noticed this now. Thanks for all the links to your DEC driver archive, great to see someone still hosting them! I'll be sure to download some if I need anything for my machines in future. We don't have any Alpha machines, but we have 6 workstations/servers: Celebris XL5100 (bought brand new in 1995 for a pretty penny), Prioris LX 5120 and XL 6200, and two Personal Workstation 200i's, along with two matching 21" DEC DiamondTron monitors, and keyboards mice etc. We upgraded the 200i and XL 6200 all the way to PIII 933mhz Tualatin chips by stacking two PowerLeap adapters, and had several 1 and 2TB SATA drives in the server using RocketRAID 1640 cards. Ask me how if you're interested.

Thanks again for the links, I'm looking at them now, best wishes and Cheers!~

Bellarmine

When working on a job, you have 3 criteria: Fast, Good, and Cheap (i.e., Quick, High Quality, and Low Cost). Only 2 out of 3 are practical.

Uploaded BIOS setup utility programs for various old Samsung, Panasonic and Grid (later owned by Tandy) computers.
These are for setting the BIOS functions on those that require a "setup" utility to set parameters in their old BIOS....
Even though they are Utilities put them in the Motherboard category....

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I have quite a few of my MS Sidewinder CDs: Gamepad, SideWinder software 3.0, and Strategic Commander. The Gamepad CD that's already uploaded is 120MB and my CD is 160MB, so I'm not sure what the difference is. Would these be of interest to anyone for the driver library?

Whenever you find something that's either missing or different in the library, just assume that by uploading what you have, you will make somebody's day somewhere down the line. Just make sure you include as much info as you can wrt what it is and what version(s)

See my graphics card database at www.gpuzoo.com
Constantly being worked on. Feel free to message me with any corrections or details of cards you would like me to research and add.

I don't have upload access to the library, so I'll just post them here for now. If someone grabs them and uploads them to the library, let me know and I'll take down my links. The pictures I've included are my own, so no worry about copyright or using someone else's image.

MS SideWinder Game Pad v1.5 CD - This is the SideWinder software v1.5 disc that came with my controller. This has drivers for both the Game Pad and 3D Pro on it. The whole disc is 160MB, though 130MB of that are game demos ( Gex, MS Marbles, and Time Commando ). I've made two 7Z files, with and without the demos for those worried about conserving drive space.

Game Pad CD-No Demo

MS SideWinder 3.0 CD - This disc came with my SW Force Feedback joystick. It was in a bundle that also included MechWarrior 3, so this disc has some MW3 profiles on it. It has drivers for the Game Pad, 3D Pro, Precision Pro, Freestyle Pro, Wheel, and Game Pad USB. And unless I'm mistaken, it looks to have USB HID drivers for every USB SW device released up to this date. And oddly, it has drivers for Sound Blaster and Ensoniq cards too.

MS SideWinder Strategic Commander CD - Like with the Game Pad CD, I made two versions of this because 360MB of the disc's 395MB is just video ads for the Dual Strike, Game Voice, and Strategic Commander in eight different languages. However, I don't know for certain if the videos are required for installation. This disc seems specifically for the Strategic Commander and doesn't have drivers for any other SW device ( at least I don't see any INF files describing anything else ).

Let me know if any of the links don't work.

Long time lurker, first time poster here. Since other users asked for them I uploaded some drivers for the Reveal SoundFX Wave 32

Version: v1.09.02.
Date: 18/03/1994 (most recent file)
Link: https://anonymfile.com/oryOQ/images.7z (edit: WARNING! Site is user-hostile, please use an ad and script blocker)
Password: soundscape
Note: they probably also work for the Ensoniq Soundscape S-2000

Should the upload link expire, let me know and I will renew it.

The ad stuff on that site is excessive. For me, the download worked once I used "right click / open new window" on the download button, instead of clicking it. Some script seems to be click-jacking left clicks on the download button...

Thanks for uploading that stuff.

I apologize, I visited the site with an adblocker and third-party scripts disabled and did not notice anything too bad. I forgot to check what the experience was for browsers with less/no blockers.

The link expires in 31 days, afterwards I'll look for a better site. But I really hope someone uploads the drivers to the Vogons library in the meanwhile.
