I found another bios chip,will this be okay for the mb,if i reprogram it with a eeprom programmer?

sst29ee010 is also a 5V chip not the 12V one you should be looking for. have you tried the local electronics hardware store for an equivalent one or do you prefer to get it online. anyway it won't cost you more. i have attached the datasheet for your original bios chip, which you can use to compare with whatever chips you are able to manage.

Well i'll have to look at local electronic stores,don't think i have ever seen bios chips for sale,but it's worth a try,i even checked online sites from my country could'nt find any bios chips for sale.
There's ebay or other foreign sites,but the cost of the chip plus transport it's too much for an old mb.
So i rather buy cheap sh motherboards from the local flea market till i find a suitable chip.
