Has anyone tried running a Radeon 9800 Pro in a Dell XPS R or T series computer?
These machines only have a 200w power supply with a fairly weak 12v rail. Not surprising; they're Slot 1 BX based computers.

The machine is currently running an overclocked V3-3000 AGP without issue, but I'd like to try out my 9800 Pro just to see how well it handles with a Celeron-1400 and Win98SE at the helm. It is the fastest AGP card I have that'll work in a 3.3v slot, but I don't really trust the overcurrent protection in these older power supplies. If any of you guys/gals have successfully stress-tested a 9700/9800 in one of these machines, please let me know! 😀
