Does anyone know where I can source a DIP CR2032 battery holder which holds two CR2032 batteries in series? My goal is to get 6 V out of a solder-on coin-cell battery holder.

Saw that, but I dislike external battery holders. I'm working on a homebrew right now.

Here's my mod. This was the only CR2032 holder I have which was not in use and has the upper top arm. I bent it.
I think a lot of 386/486 boards would benefit from such a holder after removale of those leaky barell batteries.
CR2032 are given as 19.9 x 3.1 mm (IOW a 20mm coin cell) so any holder that supports 2x 20mm cells should work.

Load 2x CR2016 into a CR2032 holder?

I wish digikey had free shipping in Canada. Perhaps I'll add this to my next order, whenever that may be.
Mouser may have similar, but in this instance their Search is kinda crappy, and it's also slow tonight. Before giving up I found a Keystone version of the above, but only available in reels.
I always find the mouser website slow. I much prefer the digikey website to find any part.
For most things I buy Mouser's prices are far better than Digikey.
Was not true 5 or 6 years ago but is now.

There is also the North American version of Farnell which is here. http://www.newark.com
If you think Mouser's search sux you haven't seen nuthin' yet...
Interestingly they do frequently have sales on components though.

A few years ago, I was ordering quite a bit from future electronics. They prices were a lot better than newark, digikey, and mouser, but they did not have nearly as much inventory. I'm not sure how their prices compare these days.
