Changing the SATA cable did nothing, the crackling sound while HD is working persists.

I think it's because in the Fractal design CORE3300 the SSD is mounted behind the motherboard tray (as an option I adopted), maybe it's not properly shielded.

The QX6700 has been mounted, now I get this:

It's the best I can do for with 4 sticks of RAM, it appears that the 865PE chipset is limited to that quantity. Right?

I finally obtained ConRoe865PE.This mobo is great, 4 GB DDR400+AGP+Quad Core CPU support with great 865 Chipset! My experience is excellent now.
