Hello guys! Short story: I bought a ridiculously amount of hardware for pennies this last weekend. I found an Asus P4S800D motherboard that looks unused but without bios chip. I only found that this chip is a 4 mbit eeprom but nothing about part code. Do any of you know what bios chip goes in there? I have several 2 mbit eeprom chips and I'm tempted about flashing one and give it a shot, but I have to see first if they are pin to pin compatible.
A few minutes with Google Image Search turned up these. Check them out, especially the first one. If the first link doesn't work for some (unknown) reason, I've attached it as well.
bellarmine: I don't know where you got that picture but thank you dude!!! I can see clearly that the bios is a 49LF040.
You are always awesome guys! 😀
Now I have to find a replacement. Buying from Ebay isn't an option since I'm in Argentina and custom taxes and shipping would be very expensive. I think any pin-to-pin compatible 4 mbit eeprom flashed on an external programmer will be ok.

Check this:
10 USD shipping included, latest BIOS copied on it. Do your customs care about small bubble envelopes? Ours are notorious about collecting taxes too, but at least they don't care about very small pieces with 10-15 dollar declared value.
