I already posted here the thread about PS/2 Splitter. 486 Laptop, Compaq Elite LTE. Since PS/2 splitter doesn't work there and laptop connected to all wires like VGA, PS/2 single port as keyboard, com port as MIDI box, Parallel port as Covox (still waiting for my order). I just wondering if it is another way to connect mouse. Since it has only one serial which is occupied with MIDI box, does PCMCIA serial adapter should work in pure DOS? Or what should be the other way to connect mouse or keyboard, doesn't matter since they have PS/2 connector I can plug only one thing, unfortunately there.
I really appreciate any answer about that, thanks!

Pcmcia serial port cards work in DOS, you have to load the point enabler though.
I have one from Socket, the Serial I/O single port card, works great in every machine DOS machine I have, including my HP 200LX.
