That would be interesting, I'm trying to update the microcodes but mmtool claims that they are not valid since the file size is different... any suggestion?
About the cpu i'm actually undecided between E7600 and E5800, the first supports the sse4.1 but it has a lower speed and according to your suggestion E5800 seems better.

Every microcode has been updated, there is one microcode fewer because intel merged the platforms for CPUID 10676.

There are no microcodes for 771 but apparently they can be added without issues, the total number of microcodes goes up to 33, if anyone is willing to test it I can upload that file too.
